Big Brother Titan

We bought some diapers and wipes at the grocery store today and Titan really wanted to see what we got….he is going to be such a good Big Brother =)

13 Weeks = Welcome 2nd Trimester!

Our Gift From God!!

We had our first big ultrasound on Monday April 12th and it was so exciting and AMAZING!! We got to see our very active baby for the first time!! What a gift from God! Baby was jumping up and down turning around, sucking his/her thumb and even had the hiccups!! It was so cute!! Baby is 7.42 centimeters long and the heartbeat was 158 beats a minute! Words can’t even describe what an amazing moment it was to hear the heartbeat and see our Gift from God!! At one point baby turned and looked at us which turned out to be a creepy looking photo =) Below are the pictures….

What's in a Name?

I have always liked boy names for girls but seem to be at a lost as to what those names are?

Here is what we have so far..this is a rough draft of course. I will continue adding to list as we think of names.

Pink or Blue...We Welcome You!

We have always said we will find out what we are having as soon as we can but today a coworker of mine has really opened my mind to the idea of waiting. She had a very valid point by saying how often do you get a surprise as great as this one? Not knowing until the day the baby arrives…what a joy on top of another joy!! We were saying how we think it would even help speed up the process (if possible) because you would want to know what you are having so you would be more eager to push and maybe not focus so much on the pain.

Jeffrey has already said he does not want to do a pink nursery if it is a girl and the baby’s room is already painted a green color which is very neutral. What about clothes? It seems like a lot of baby’s wear onesies anyway which can be neutral as well. I could always buy a boy outfit and a girl outfit then just return one when the baby arrives.

We have about 6 more weeks to decide if we want to wait or not. If we decide to wait I think I will have to have the Doctor sign a waiver saying he will not tell me if I try to ask him.

Sarah- I don't know how you did it...not finding out but I totally understand why you did and have always thought that would be so neat and amazing but just don't know if I could actually wait. =)

Baby's Remodeled Bathroom

We decided (but Jeffrey did all the work) to remodel our "Baby's Bathroom" by tiling the shower/tub and changing out the light fixture. Here are a few pictures!
