Needles!

I have always been scared of needles and always will be scared of needles. So when I told my Doctor this he said well you better get use to them since your pregnant now. Ughh…I will have to say I have gotten a lot better since I have had to give blood four times now in the last four months! Although the first Nurse who took my blood was not very friendly. I tried to tell her I was scared of needles and all she could say was I need your insurance card. Really? So I gave her the benefit of doubt and said it again and still no response. So at this point I am starting to really freak out. Finally she is done putting all my information into their system and is now preparing for the big stick. I tell her for the last time that I am really, really scared and she finally responds with a “well you better not look then!” Ok really can you show any kind of sympathy! It didn’t take very long and wasn’t as bad as I had always imagined but I was so glad to be out of there. Only about a dozen more times of this and maybe I will be cured of my fear.
